I am especially glad and proud to announce that Papadellis Olive Oil holds a stable view regarding the environmental protection. For my brother Babis and me personally, it is of great significance not only to produce and distribute olive oil of the highest quality. Although this is a steady personal and family aim, special attention is paid to reduce the carbon footprint of our company.
For those of you who probably do not know what that means, the carbon footprint is the total sum of the carbon dioxide, as well as the rest of the greenhouse gases that are emitted during the life cycle of a product, at all of the stages (production, usage, final disposal). That is, in simple words, the amount of environmental pollution. Especially for olive oil, the careless and irresponsible mode of production could result to a high carbon footprint, i.e. burdening the environment. Ever since we started operating in the production, standardisation and distribution of high quality olive oil, the environmental factor is a priority for us, not a luxury. Our facilities, equipment and mode of production assure the reduction of our carbon footprint, reinforce our energy efficiency, restrain the waste and enhance the logistics and effectiveness of Papadellis Olive Oil.
